Specialized services provided by qualified professionals with a broad experience in the energy market, particularly with regard to commercialization rules and activities related to the schedule established by the CCEE (Brazilian Electric Power Commercialization Chamber) for the commercialization procedures.
In the representation service, Nova Energia becomes responsible for the conduction of processes that are inherent in the operations of the commercialization chamber in a free and regulated contracting environment to meet obligations and exercise rights as a market agent.
ACTIVITIES DEVELOPED - GENERATORS
  • Adhesion of the agent and plant modeling at the commercialization chamber; 

  • Follow-up of the schedule at the commercialization chamber considering the obligations to be met (association contribution, submission of guarantees, short-term market financial settlement, etc.), thus eliminating the possibility of any penalties being applied;

  • Follow-up and disclosure of measurement data gathered by the commercialization chamber;

  • Registration and validation of contracts in compliance with the commercialization procedures;

  • Energy ballast monitoring (12-month moving average) to prevent the application of penalties and identify possible business opportunities for the plants;

  • Monthly reports containing a summary of all parameters raised monthly by the commercialization chamber using our iNOVA management system;

  • Season-based physical guarantee of the power plants with this parameter defined by the Ministry of Mines and Energy;

  • Management of loads generated by plants committed at regulated auctions; 

  • Monitoring of the discounts granted on the Distribution System Use Tariff (TUSD) and Transmission System Use Tariff (TUST) for units operating under incentives;

  • Follow-up of the amounts reported and settled in the short-term market as well as the reproduction of the calculations made by the commercialization chamber for checking and statistical studies purposes;

  • Publish customized information bulletins to keep the power generation company informed about the trends, market scenarios and the resulting opportunities;

  • Provide permanent technical and regulatory assistance whenever changes or new concepts for commercialization rules and procedures are introduced and when requested by the generation company;

  • Representation at the general and regular meetings of the commercialization chamber. 

  • If required, customer follow-up and support at meetings held at the commercialization chamber, distribution/transmission concession holders, ANEEL, the Ministry of Mines and Energy and/or the System National Operator to support and/or represent the Principal in the defense of its interests.

ACTIVITIES DEVELOPED - CONSUMERS
  • Adhesion of the agent and modeling of the consumption units at the commercialization chamber;
  • Follow-up of the schedule at the commercialization chamber considering the obligations to be met (association contribution, submission of guarantees, short-term market financial settlement, back-up energy charges, etc.), thus preventing the application of any penalties;
  • Follow-up and disclosure of measurement data gathered by the commercialization chamber;
  • Registration and validation of contracts in compliance with the commercialization procedures;
  • Monitoring of consumption and contracting (12-month moving average) to prevent the application of penalties for insufficient energy ballast;
  • Monitoring of the TUSD tariff discount calculation in case of energy purchases from sources covered by incentives;
  • Monthly reports containing a summary of all parameters raised monthly by the commercialization chamber using our iNOVA management system;
  • Preparation of performance reports on the consuming unit to quantify free market costs vis-à-vis the captive market;
  • Update and periodic presentation of the chamber’s commercialization rules and procedures;
  • Strategic and regulatory support for short-term and long-term energy supply contracting;
  • Full support to energy purchasing operations;
  • Technical and regulatory assistance whenever requested by the consumer;
  • Representation at the general and regular meetings of the commercialization chamber.
  • Provide assistance services for the analysis of electric power demand contracts with local distributors, reporting on risks and opportunities and guiding the consumer in the definition of its strategy for contracting the use of the distribution system.
